I was asked to curate an exhibition. I chose to question the act of curating itself. I wanted to open up the question to a selected group of artists, curator, critics, and collectors. I wanted to know what other people thought. Out of the list of seventy-five or so people I emailed, thirty people agreed to submit–nineteen actually did–either something of their own design or answers to a questionnaire I made centered around the question: What is a curator? This collection is made up of the unabridged submissions I received.
